We found out on Wednesday that Isaac''s biliruben test came back a 17.8 - 20 is dangerous. So that night a nurse came by with a biliruben blanket that he has to wear 24/7. This would replace a hospital stay where he would have to lay under the lights. Yesterday his test came be at a 16.4, so he went down. We have to go to the hospital again today and tomorrow.
Other than that, Isaac has been doing great. He has been a great sleeper - only waking up once at night to eat. Today he slept in until almost 8am! Too bad his sister was up at 7am. Speaking of Miss Reese - she has been doing relativily well with the whole transition. She did have one breakdown yesterday. Isaac woke up and wanted to be fed and she wanted attention. There was not a whole lot I could do, so she sat by the couch with her hands over her eyes and cried :( I felt so bad. After I was done feeding Isaac I was able to give her my full attention with a little bath time. She recovered just fine, but it was heartbreaking to see her so sad.
We are lucky to have such great family and friends. It was so nice to have some extra hands around the house with my mom and dad each staying a couple of days as well and Auntie Ang giving a helping hand. And we have not had to cook too much due to The Widman''s and Thielke''s - they each brought over food - which was soooo nice!
