Some times I think we have a tom-boy and then all of the sudden she turns into a girly girl! Reese loves to play with her basketball and hoop as well as her Dora bat and ball. Then she turns around a wants her nails painted, clips in her hair, and blush on her cheeks. She loves watching me put on my make-up (which has not been happening as much as it should these days), and always wants to use my hair products. So I will put a little paste in her hair to satisfy her girly needs. She walks around so very proud. She also has gotten into jewelry. As you may have seen in recent pictures, she has blue and gold bead that Grandpa Lindsay gave her. Everyday she finds them, and strings them around her neck.
Isaac is still fighting a cold. I am wondering when it will ever stop. With 2 kids, it seems like we are always wiping someone’s little nose. His smiles are coming a little more often. He still our little cuddle bug. I love love love that! He is getting so strong. The other day, Dana Widman was taking pictures of him on an ottoman and he got his momentum going and rolled off - somehow, Dana caught him with her left hand while still holding her camera in her right! I could not believe that little munchkin did that. Thank you Dana for being multi-talented!
Today was a picture perfect day! After church, we stopped by Menard''s to pick up a few yard supplies and pretty much spent the rest of the day doing yard work, while Reese ran around and Isaac hung out on the blanket and his bouncy chair. Both of them loved it out there. Brian got the swing set and mulch laid down. What a difference it makes in our yard - last year, it was filled with weeds. Reese helped Daddy rake, shovel, and hoe, which she took very seriously. Another hi-light was the neighbor''s new 6 week-old golden retriever. Reesey has fallen in love with Vicky (the puppy). We look forward to many more days like this!
